Aramco F1 in Schools World Finals 2024: The winners, the prizes, and how to get involved
The ceremony took place after the F2 season finale in Abu Dhabi on December 8, 2024.
Al-Zamil presented the Aramco Formula 2 Best Performer Award to 2024 F2 runner-up Isack Hadjar for his race weekend in Australia at Melbourne’s Albert Park Circuit, where he won the F2 feature race from eighth on the grid - after crossing the line first in the F2 sprint race before being demoted to sixth by a post-race 10-second penalty.
Aramco F2 Best Performer Award winner Hadjar said: “Thank you very much to Aramco for this great trophy. It highlights my race weekend in Melbourne, which was my best memory of the year. It started my season and it ended a long wait of zero podiums. It was the start of a great, great season. In my mind I won both races, I did the double, so it's cool.”

The Aramco Formula 3 Best Rookie Award was presented to Arvid Lindblad, who finished fourth this year with five wins and five podiums for Prema. Lindblad, a Red Bull junior driver, will step up to F2 next season with Campos Racing.
“Thank you very much to Aramco for the Best Rookie trophy. It’s going to look amazing in the trophy cabinet and it’s a great addition. I think it’s amazing what they’re doing to support F2 and F3 as well as F1, so I’m really grateful to them,” said Lindblad.
“A really good season, winning the Best Rookie [award] - lots of victories, a really good team behind me, and an amazing campaign that was much better than I expected. I’m really grateful - thank you again to Aramco for the trophy.”

“Hadjar’s comeback in Melbourne won him the Aramco Best Performance Award in F2 and truly shows he has the racing mentality to succeed at the highest of levels of motorsport. Meanwhile, Lindblad’s 2024 F3 campaign resulted in his Aramco Best Rookie Award at just 17 years old.
