RaceTeq is  a brand owned and operated by Saudi Arabian Oil Company (“Aramco” or “Saudi Aramco”), which is a Saudi joint stock company established in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by virtue of Royal Decree No. M/8, dated 4/4/1409H (corresponding 13/11/1988G) with fully paid capital of SAR 90,000,000,000 and registered in the city of Dhahran under commercial registration no 2052101150.

RaceTeq, Aramco Group or “Saudi Aramco Group” refers to Aramco, together with, or its subsidiaries and controlled affiliates.

Aramco owns and operates this website (raceteq.com) and its related mobile applications and social media profiles and accounts, or any specific subsite set up to facilitate a particular activity, such as a competition, draw, prize giveaway (collectively referred to as “the Site”). Before using the Site, please read these terms carefully.

By using the Site, you signify your agreement to these terms of use. If you do not agree to these terms of use, please do not use this Site or any of the affiliated mobile applications or social media accounts. This includes downloading and installing applications on your mobile devices. Aramco may modify these terms of use, as it deems necessary, at any time, and without notice.

Raceteq.com gives you information about, and is predominantly purposed to provide updates about motorsport news, events, and related content. In particular it may provide information of a technical nature and how the Aramco Group’s products and the services we offer plays a role in motorsport. The Site is an information source. You cannot purchase products or services from our Site directly. You may enter competitions, prizes, draws, or giveaways through the Site.

Local Websites

Your use of any website of another Aramco Group member (“Local Website”) shall be governed by both these terms and the terms and conditions of the Local Website. However, where these terms conflict with those of the Local Website, the terms and conditions of the Local Website shall prevail. Please read carefully any Local Website terms and conditions before using the Local Website.

For your convenience, this Site may contain hyperlinks to other websites, including some sites administered by Aramco, or administered by other companies on behalf of Aramco, as well as to third party sites unrelated to Aramco, or the Aramco Group. A hyperlink on this Site to any other website not administered by or on behalf of Aramco does not imply (1) that Aramco agrees with or endorses the information, data or representations contained therein; (2) that Aramco sponsors, endorses, or is affiliated with or otherwise connected with such site, or with the company(ies) that operate it; or (3) that Aramco has authorized the linked site to use any names, logos, and trademarks or copyrighted material of Aramco or the Aramco Group.

To the fullest extent permissible pursuant to applicable law, RaceTeq and Aramco disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

RaceTeq and Aramco do not warrant that the functions contained in the Materials will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that this Site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or other harmful components.

RaceTeq and Aramco do not warrant or make any representations regarding the use or the results of the use of the Materials on this Site in terms of their correctness, accuracy, reliability, or otherwise. You (and not Aramco) assume the entire cost of all necessary servicing, repair or correction arising from your access and use of the Site and the Materials on it . Neither RaceTeq or Aramco, nor the Aramco Group shall be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of, or in any way connected with, accessing or using any content or Materials on this Site, websites hyperlinked from this Site, or any content on any website that hyperlinks to this Site.

RaceTeq and Aramco reserve the right to make changes to this Site and to the representations published on it at any time, without notice.

User Account and Account Blocking

The Site is intended and only permitted to be used by individuals for personal use only, and not for commercial use (whether by an individual or company). Users must be 18 years of age to register for an Account. Users can register for an Account via the Site. The User is taken to the registration form, which they must complete to register for the Account.  [A functioning e-mail address is required for registration.] The User must provide complete and truthful information when registering the Account. After the User has entered the data, the Account is created by clicking the relevant button. Only one Account per User may be registered.  The Account is not transferable.  Aramco does not verify the identity of the User. Aramco does not assume, and hereby expressly disclaims to the extent permitted by applicable law, any liability for the accuracy or inaccuracy of the information provided by the User. Users may contact Aramco about the Site or these Terms of Use by sending an email to the following address: Editorial@raceteq.com.

RaceTeq and Aramco are entitled to permanently block the Account or the email of a User if (i) the User uses (or Aramco reasonably suspects that the User has used or is using) the Site in an unauthorized, criminal or otherwise illegal manner, or RaceTeq or Aramco decide to close the Site.

Duties of the User

The use of the Site is only permitted within the scope of these Terms of Use.

The User must ensure that his/her mobile device(s) meet(s) the technical requirements for the use of the Site.  [This includes the device itself, the operating system and the internet connection]. 

The User must keep his/her username and password for the Account safe and not disclose it to any third parties.

The User must not:

1. take actions that could foreseeably lead to (i) the servers or the IT infrastructure used for the provision of the Site, being subject to any kind of hacking attacks; or (ii) the introduction of any malicious code into, or the bypassing or overriding of security mechanisms of, the Site or the servers or the IT infrastructure used for the provision of the Site;
2. modify, decompile, reverse engineer or create derivative works of the source code of the Site;
3. cover up, change or delete product markings and references to property or other rights of Aramco or any third party;
4. conduct, facilitate, authorise or permit any text or data mining or web scraping in relation to the App or any services provided via, or in relation to, the Site, including using (or permitting, authorising or attempting the use of): (i) any "robot", "bot", "spider", "scraper" or other automated device, program, tool, algorithm, code, process or methodology to access, obtain, copy, monitor or republish any portion of the App or any data, content, information or services accessed via the same; or (iii) any automated analytical technique aimed at analysing text and data in digital form to generate information which includes but is not limited to patterns, trends and correlations; or
5. use the Site in a manner that violates applicable law or the rights of Aramco, its agents or representatives, or any third parties.

The User is responsible for complying with all applicable laws. Aramco does not make any representation that using the Site is permitted in Your jurisdiction.

The commercial use of the Site is prohibited. Commercial use requires the express written prior consent of Aramco.

Term Amendment and Termination of the Usage Relationship

These Terms of Use continue until they are terminated by RaceTeq or Aramco.

RaceTeq and Aramco do not make any commitment or representation that the Site would or will remain accessible by the User for any period of time.

RaceTeq and Aramco reserve the right to update and amend these Terms of Use from time to time.  The User shall be notified of the changes before they come into force by e-mail to the e-mail address stored in the Account. The User may object to the changes in the Terms of Use.  The notification of the changes will contain further information on the right of objection and its exercise.  The objection must be made in text form. The continuing use of the Site after that notification shall be deemed an acceptance of the changes.

If the User objects to the changes, this objection shall be deemed a termination of these Terms of Use, immediately following which the User is no longer permitted to use the Site (unless the User subsequently accepts the revised Terms of Use).

After termination of these Terms of Use, the User is no longer permitted to use the Site and the functions of the Site may no longer be made available to, or used by, the User.

These Terms of Use may also be terminated by RaceTeq or Aramco at any time for convenience, including if (i) the User violates its obligations set forth in these Terms of Use, or (ii) Aramco as operator of the App decides to discontinue operating and offering it. Aramco shall notify the relevant User of any such termination.

Additional Terms and Conditions

RaceTeq and Aramco may publish any additional terms and conditions from time to time as applicable to particular activities, events, competitions, prize draws and giveaways. To the extent there are inconsistencies between the additional specific terms and conditions, and these terms and conditions, the additional terms shall prevail for the purposes they were provided for. 

Ownership of the copyright of this website

All copyright of the text, graphics, user interfaces, visual interfaces, photographs, trademarks, logos, sounds, music, artwork, any downloads and computer code (collectively, "Content"), including but not limited to the design, structure, selection, coordination, expression, "look and feel" and arrangement of such Content, contained on the Site is owned, controlled or licensed by or to Aramco or the Aramco Group, and is protected by trade dress, copyright, patent and trademark laws, and various other intellectual property rights and unfair competition laws. All rights reserved.

Except as expressly provided in these Terms of Use, no part of the Site and no Content may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, encoded, translated, transmitted or distributed in any way (including "mirroring") to any other computer, server, website or other medium for publication or distribution, or for any commercial enterprise, without Aramco’s express prior written consent.

You may use information on RaceTeq Aramco products and services (such as data sheets, knowledge base articles, and similar Materials) purposely made available by Aramco for downloading from the Site, provided that you (1) not remove any proprietary notice language in all copies of such documents, (2) use such information only for your personal, non-commercial informational purpose and do not copy or post such information on any networked computer or broadcast it in any media (unless otherwise stated as allowed explicitly on the Site), (3) make no modifications to any such information, and (4) not make any additional representations or warranties relating to such documents.

Ownership of trademarks

RaceTeq , ARAMCO, SAUDI ARAMCO, the ENERGY BURST logo, and WHERE ENERGY IS OPPORTUNITY are trademarks of Saudi Arabian Oil Company.

Applicable law

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of your use of this service. Aramco reserves the right to bring proceedings to the courts of the country of your location.

In the event that any or any part of the terms contained in these terms and conditions shall be determined by any competent authority to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable to any extent, such term shall to that extent be severed from the remaining terms which shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
