Gabriele Bortoleto came away with the championship lead in Azerbaijan, where Isack Hadjar endured his fourth-straight point-less Formula 2 race.

2024 Formula 1 World Championship drivers' and constructors' standings

Invicta Racing's Bortoleto, who is a McLaren junior driver and F2 rookie, won the feature race at Monza from last on the grid and picked up 15 more points in Azerbaijan to take the F2 standings lead.

Campos Racing's Hadjar led the standings heading to Baku but he failed to pick up a point for the second straight weekend and now trails by 4.5 points.

Joshua Duerksen emerged a surprise winner at Baku for PHM AIX with a victory in the sprint race, while Richard Verschoor picked up his first win of the season for Trident in the following day's feature race.
