Red Bull's Max Verstappen enters as defending champion while the team aims to extend its streak and capture its third consecutive Formula 1 constructors' championship title.
The Formula 1 schedule begins with pre-season testing in Bahrain on February 21-23, 2024, before the first race of the season at the same venue on March 2. The field then travels to Saudi Arabia and Australia.
China holds the first sprint event of the season – a 100km race to the finish line that pays eight points for the winner down to one point for the eight-place finisher.
Miami, Spielberg, Sao Paulo, Austin, and Lusail host the next five sprints of the season.
The 2024 Formula 1 season concludes with the 2024 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on December 8, 2024.
